WHAT TO WEAR?
- Bring three different changes of clothes to add variety to your images. Consider bringing clothes that are casual, smart-casual and special occasion (eg Year 12 formal or traditional dress) or your hobby (eg sporting, dance gear etc)
- Hair and make-up should be done before you come in
- As a guide, solid darker clothing with little or no pattern or logo is preferred as the focus is then on your face and eyes…..it is also more flattering for all body types
- Long sleeves, long pants, long skirts or long dresses are more flattering in your images. Short skirts, shorts, singlets and short sleeves should not be worn as you may be sitting on the floor
- Classic jewellery such as pearls or diamonds, is more subtle than large costume pieces
- Remember you will be admiring these images for many years to come, so wear clothing that will not date – the images are all about YOU, not the fashion of the day
